Best Art for Nursery Walls
For a good long while I’ve been obsessive over the Amenity nature wall prints from Design Public. I tell most people about them, so why not here?
There are so many nice ones to choose from, but my two faves are maybe, the Large Wall Print - Meadow (because it’s so darned huge) and Nursery Wall Prints - Woods Turtle (too sweet).
Both are adorable and in such soothing colors. Each print is silkscreened by hand with eco-friendly, water-based dyes, so if your child touches it, or decides licking might be swell, it’s all good.

I’m a little in love with Roebuck Studio - designers of beautiful, creative, sustainable, and imaginative furniture for children. This is furniture that won’t break your own style down to kid size. Each piece is whimsical enough for your child, but stylish enough for your home.
Seriously, I almost can’t choose a favorite piece at this studio. Still, I tried, and finally settled on two pieces to share:
I’ll admit it, I’m partial to the green chair, but I’m a green kind of girl. No worries because this chair is available in many colors that would work with any child’s room decor scheme. The orange is great - go see.

I’m swooning. I know this is a pint sized human based blog, but this amazing piece by Judy Hoysak almost makes me mutter things I shouldn’t; at least not here. It’s like shock, but in a good way:
I’m thinking that this is adorable and perfect playroom decor - can you see kids all spread out on this? I sure can.
Judy Hoysak is so imaginative that it will blow your mind. Visit her profile page to see more. One day when she’s famous you can say you knew about her way back when.
Hopping Rabbit Friend
This Hopping Rabbit made of basswood with sycamore wheels and walnut eyes is sure to be a favorite pal for years. As your child walks, this little fellow hops along.
Perfect as a baby shower or first birthday gift - parents and children will be delighted. See this and other great wooden toys at the always amazing Sage Baby.

This is hands down one of the most stylish bassinets I’ve seen in a good long while. Many bassinets are so baby-like, that they look odd in the parent’s bedroom. Not this one though. The Espresso Cariboo Bassinet is not only good for the earth, but also perfect for your design sense. Clean lines and a simple style matched with sustainable Radiata wood is a lovely combination. Contemporary but not stuffy - it’s still got that charming touch of whimsy that all baby items should have.
More need to know facts from retailer Land of Nod:
- “Eco-friendly
- Meets or exceeds all US government safety standards
- Bassinet can be used as toy chest or clothes hamper when baby grows older
- Bassinet “bag” zips off and is machine washable
- Bassinet mattress meets all federal regulations for flammability
- Bassinet comes with mattress and one white fitted sheet
- Bassinet turns into changer by simply attaching the changer to the top rails of the bassinet
- Changer’s fabric surface cradles child for extra support
- Changer includes machine washable fabric changing surface and toweling liner
- Veil fabric is machine washable (delicate cycle)
- Bassinet weight limit: 22 lbs.
- Changer weight limit: 33 lbs.”
You can also choose this in Honey or White (I like the honey color).
This awesome bassinet is available from a favorite of mine, Land of Nod.
